Remote Anxiety Treatment in Europe

18.01.2026

Finding well-trained therapists who exclusively specialize in the treatment of complex conditions such as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Transport Agoraphobia and Fear of Flying is challenging regardless of where you live.

Additionally national health mental health services in many European countries limit sessions and some require unsuccessful treatment with a general provider before allowing referral to clinicians specializing in specific conditions. These limits and barriers have led some Europeans with complex anxiety conditions to seek treatment across Europe and beyond.

Four years ago, I decided to take my international identity and specialty training to Europe through the TherapyRoute and International Therapist Directory platforms. This experience gifted me the opportunity to offer advanced therapy methods to sufferers across Europe, from the UK, Netherlands, Germany to Estonia who did not have access to this level of care locally.

In November of 2025, I wanted to expand my reach and launch this website as an independent platform to more throughly describe the conditions I treat and the methods I use. This blog will serve as a vehicle to present my work in more detail through anecdotes, examples, approaches I use, experiences of clients I have helped - a granular look at the sweat, twists, turns of the journey toward recovery and wellness. The blog will give me a space to provide detailed information, and opinions on topics related to "therapy" and beyond...........

I particularly enjoy treating unwanted, repugnant obsessions, often involving sexual and/or harm. But I also see many people with doubting-checking and contamination fears.

Fear of panic when traveling by coach, trains and fear of flying causing the person to avoid one or more of these forms of transport, known clinically as Travel Agoraphobia

Accessing anxiety specialists within European national health systems is usually not straight forward and can take time. It is also difficult to find highly trained, affordable private therapists. In some countries, they are simply scarce. Online therapy fills this space, allowing people struggling with OCD or complex anxiety conditions, critically in need of treatment to get help.

I will explain the difference between fear of flying related to aviation accident and avoidance of air travel because of fear of panic on the aircraft as well as the treatment. I will also write about how treatment approaches differ for each. I will also want to introduce readers to Virtual Reality treatment using the remote oVRcome platform
