2003-present Anxiety Specialty Practice
I opened my private practice, doing general therapy at first. However, I became interested in anxiety disorders and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder in particular. Following a period of extensive training, I decided to specialize in the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and related anxiety conditions. While OCD had remained my primary area of speciality, over the years I have expanded my clinical practice to the treatment of travel and transport agoraphobia related to panic, Fear of Flying, phobias as well as the anxiety struggles of young adults

2003-2004 Training
Gail Steketee
Specialty:Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Consultant:Gail Steketee, Ph.D.
I trained privately with Dr. Gail Steketee over a period of 18 months. Dr. Steketee, a clinical researcher and then professor of psychology at Boston University, is an internationally recognized expert in obsessive compulsive disorder. During this time, I received weekly consultation and training from Dr. Steketee in the application of the cognitive approach she and colleague Sabine Wilhelm had developed for the treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder.
When Dr. Steketee discontinued her consultation services, she introduced me to Dr. Kieron O'Connor- a clinical researcher and professor of psychology at the University of Montreal in Quebec, Canada.

Specialty:Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Consultant:Kieron O'Connor, Ph.D.
I began to train privately with Dr. O’Connor and his associate Dr. Fred Aardema in the clinical application of the Inferential Based Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), an innovative form of Cognitive Therapy for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder that he had developed.
I maintained a close working relationship with both Drs. O'Connor and Aardema, visiting Montreal frequently, providing case reports for their second I-CBT clinician’s manual as well as presenting at the annual Quebec Obsessive Compulsive Foundation Conference and participating as a panelist. After the regrettable passing of Dr. O'Connor I have remained in contact with Dr. Aardema and have followed ongoing advances in I-CBT
